Toddler Paint and Activity Smock

Stay clean. Stay cute! Wipe-clean oilcloth and soft quilting cotton combine with an all-around custom binding to create a full coverage Toddler Paint and Activity Smock that your favorite little one (and the little one’s parents) will love. The smock is designed with Velcro at each shoulder, so it’s easy to fit to the child. Once the shoulders have been set, you can simply slip it over the child’s head when they’re ready to paint, color, glue, or otherwise get creatively messy.

As you put together your smock, you’ll get to learn/practice S4H’s favorite tips for working with oilcloth (and other sticky substrates), as well as how to make and attach your own custom bias binding. There are even special notes on how and when to gently stretch your binding as your curve and when you don’t want to that.

Table Runner and Banded Napkins

Widen your horizons! You may have noticed an exciting new trend in designer fabric collections: wide width quilt backing. The motifs are bold and beautiful, and they are not merely one of the main collection’s designs in a larger format. They are a unique pattern, specifically chosen to look great across a wide swath of fabric. Although they are amazing at what their name implies: as a quilt back, our friends at S4H couldn’t help but wonder what else these wonderfully wide widths could be used for.

Their super smart idea: a gorgeous, long table runner cut as a single panel! Thanks to that incredible wide width quilt backing, you need just a little over a yard to make it happen. Download and create your own with the instructions are provided below.
